JAQUES-DALCROZE
The newly expanded 2020 Summer Semester dates are June 15 through July 11. The Summer Semester has broadened from a three-week semester to a four-week semester, which allows for a restructuring of our current curriculum. Beginning Summer 2020, Level One and Two will be offered simultaneously in the first half of the semester as always. This portion of the semester is our Program A, held June 15 - 27, 2020. The second half of the semester, Program B, held June 28 - July 11, will cover the existing Level III curriculum. This additional week allows for broader experiences, more opportunity to develop skill, and more time for private practice.

Each part of the Certificate program requires a minimum of two weeks of summer classes at the Institute for Jaques-Dalcroze Education, LLC.   Since each Summer semester takes place over a four-week period, completion of all three Certification levels requires a minimum of two Summer Semesters but, three summers is the norm. The Levels are taken consecutively and if necessary each level may be repeated twice.

STIPULATIONS
Our three-level certification program conforms to the structure created by the Diplomats and Licentiates in the United States. Even though each Diplôme Supèrieur is an independent representative of The Method Jaques-Dalcroze, this program represents an effort for the training in the USA to be more coordinated among the US training centers and more in line with Jaques-Dalcroze teacher training worldwide.
